Google Launches 1 G Internet and TV Service in Kansas City
Google is leading the Internet wave by launching its 1 Gb-per-second fiber service in Kansas City. “Google Fiber promises to be 100 times faster than the average American broadband speed. To put this into perspective, using Google Fiber is sort of like driving from New York City to San Francisco in under a half hour.”
Google is expected to roll out its fiber service in additional cities.
